Good cooked breakfast, a huge variety of meals. Comfortable bed, good-sized bathroom and a lounge area and climate control in the room. The location comfy and handy right on State Highway 1. Right by town centre, shops, hotels and other eateries and the cafes and supermarket and supermarket.

Prime location right on the outskirts of town, so close to the cafes - can't beat that! 🏞️

Nice place to stay in Kaikoura, if compared to other hotels. The hotel was modern and friendly, as expected. The room was well-appointed with great views, the staff were very amiable. Its beautiful, central location was a plus. The restaurant here was excellent.

Facilities were really nice, nevertheless Wi-Fi was slow.

The room was a good size and had a cozy vibe with all the needed amenities. Great location - we could easily walk to all the places we wanted to go. 🚶‍♂️

The room was clean, well equipped, and in a great location. Staff were easy to communicate with and accommodating of our late arrival. The grounds were beautifully maintained and our family room had enough space for all of us. The owner was friendly and the hotel had a lovely atmosphere. The hotel also offered a playground, which was a hit with our little one.

The motel is a bit further from town than we would have preferred. Although the information in the unit indicated that towels would be changed daily, ours were not changed until we approached the staff ourselves to request new towels.

I recently had a fantastic stay at a motor inn in Kaikoura. the location was incredibly convenient, being right off the highway, making it easy to get to all the exciting attractions in the area. the room I stayed in had a breathtaking view of the majestic mountain range, and it made waking up every morning a truly remarkable experience. the cleanliness and service were top-notch, with the room being immaculate and well-maintained.

The limited parking space available, which was a bit inconvenient.

We booked 2 x2 bedroom apartments the first night we spent at a differnet hotel altogether were myself my partner my sister and her partner shared a room as we had wanted to spend the time together and that was all that was available at the same motel. The 2nd night my sister and her partner stayed on at the motel and we went on to the colonial court we had booked a 2 bedroom apartment as mentioned above but that is not what we stayed in the 2nd night we were in a one bedroom with the worst shower I have ever used it was tiny and half the water ended up outside the shower rather than in. We were also told we would get a small discount the 2nd night for our inconveniences which didint happen. Allthough the motel owners seemed genuinely apologetic I dont think enough was done to ensure we were leaving happy customers. We wil not be returning.
